BCoSe: Business Continuity Server
After a lot of testing we are proud to present you the Business Continuity Server. This service allows us to give our customers the maximum availability of their server(s). The BCoSe makes every 15 minutes a copy of the server(s). These backups are sent to a datacenter in a highly secured way. When the server is -for some reason- no longer available, BCoSe can and will take over all functionalities in only 15 to 20 minutes. Hereby we minimize the impact on our customers business. Backups on tape are no longer required.
Advantages
- BCoSe takes every 15 minutes a backup of your server(s).
- If by accident data is erased on the server, our Service Desk will replace this data in no time.
- When problems with the hardware occur or no server is available, BCoSe can take over all functionalities until problems are solved. This results in a minimum downtime of 15-20 minutes.
- BCoSe does not only take a backup of Navision/incadea but of all the data on your server.
- The BCoSe is controlled by Carya Group 24/7.
- Data are being transferred to 2 different geological sites. A copy of the customers' data is always and anytime available.
- Archiving: the daily backups are saved weekly and monthly. Carya Group performs samples to check the integrity of the backups made.
Current Risks
- Theft/loss of the backup tapes.
- Unavailability of the server(s) due to circumstances as fire/flood/water damage/theft.
- The backup tape can be damaged by exposure to magnetic fields.
- Procedures: Does everybody in the dealership follow the procedures, backup tapes can be forgotten!
- According to the dimension of your dealership, we have 3 different types: Small/Standard/Extreme.
- Every type has a number of Gb for free while the backup is stored online. When the customer exceeds this quota, an additional fee will be asked per Gb.
- Small: 50 GB
- Standard: 100 GB
- Extreme: 250 GB
